Ingredients

  • 16 oz. refried beans (1 can)
  • 1 oz. taco seasoning (1 packet)
  • 2-4 tbsp heavy cream
  • 8 oz. Fiesta blend shredded cheese (1 bag)
  • 16 oz. guacamole (1 container)
  • 16 oz. sour cream (1 large tub) or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 2.25 oz. sliced black olives (1 small can)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (quartered)
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • tortilla chips for serving

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Cups or small serving bowls
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Knife and Cutting Board

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the 16 oz. of refried beans, 1 oz. of taco seasoning, and 2-4 tbsp of heavy cream. Mix until well combined and creamy. Adjust the cream based on how smooth you want the mixture to be.
  2. Spoon a generous layer of the refried bean mixture into the bottom of each cup, creating a solid foundation.
  3. Next, layer 16 oz. of guacamole over the refried beans in each cup. Spread it evenly to ensure every bite has that creamy goodness.
  4. Add a layer of sour cream (or Greek yogurt) over the guacamole. This will add a tangy flavor that balances the richness of the other layers.
  5. Top the sour cream layer with 1 cup of chunky salsa. Make sure to get a nice amount in each cup for that fresh, zesty taste!
  6. Sprinkle 8 oz. of Fiesta blend shredded cheese over the salsa layer. Don’t be shy; you want a good cheesy layer.
  7. Finish off your 7 Layer Dip Cups with sliced black olives, quartered cherry tomatoes, and chopped cilantro. These toppings add a vibrant finish and a burst of flavor.
