Instructions:
- Start by brewing your two shots of espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use a strong coffee as an alternative, but espresso will give you that authentic café flavor.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, pour in the almond milk. Add the ground ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Stir well to combine, and heat until just steaming—do not let it boil.
- Once the milk is heated, add the sugar. Stir until fully dissolved. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary.
- If you have a milk frother, froth the milk until it’s light and airy. If you don’t, you can whisk it vigorously for a minute or so to create some froth.
- In your favorite mug, pour the freshly brewed espresso. Then, carefully add the frothed almond milk, filling it to the brim.
- If you’re feeling indulgent, top your Gingerbread Latte with the whipped cream. You can also sprinkle a little extra cinnamon or nutmeg on top for extra flair!
Notes
- For a sweeter taste, consider using maple syrup or honey instead of sugar.
- Experiment with different milk alternatives like oat or coconut milk.
- Feel free to adjust the spices to your personal preference for flavor.
